Hi Jean & welcome,

I've went through research & simulation for the past 4 months in order to invest in Florida.

If I can be of any help, let me know!

Anyone is aware of these laws in Florida?

What have you found on your area?

From my point of view, if plants close, people will relocate to other jobs.  Some may leave but smaller cities like this one tend to stay away from the big city. It's a mentality thing, at least for 35+.

Detroit was quite different, as both the local market & country collapsed. Plus, Detroit was the pillar of Michigan, while TR is not quite that for the province of Qc (without minimizing its importance)

Makes sense? :P

Hi,

My girlfriend is on the verge of starting her own business with a partner. Her partner is already established.

The property is central to a city we live in &  that will most likely double in population within 10-12 years.

For me, this property can generate 300-400 CF/month at market value. I can also flip this in a duplex & hold/sell later.

Keep in mind I will be supporting her on our personal side. I also want her to do something she loves. I can afford to support all our living expenses.

What would you you do?

Anyone has done it?

Would you do it (again)?

Post: Car You Drive ? vs. Investments You Have ?

I used to drive a BMW 335i, loved that car. I also hated it because it would take a good chunk out of my investment account.

I switched to a used Civic this year. I'm trying to keep my travelling expenses under 5% of my take home pay. This leaves so much room for cash flow and new possibilities. It has been the most boring car I've owned in my life, but it's the car I enjoy the most because it gives me options elsewhere.

Why don't you find a good middle between those two extremes?

Pickup a loaded Nissan Altima @ 15k. They drive nice, look professional & you'll get good mileage out of it.

I you'd like a A to Z car expense calculator, message me in PM and I'll send you my true cost to own spreadsheet!!
