I am not able to answer all your questions however in regards to renting a space without egress, aka not up to code the Tenant has rights to their rent back at any time and could take you to court. I would make sure it is a legal bedroom in case there is an issue and you have to contact you insurance company or you are reported for substandard to the current code.

I am sending you a message now. That property seems to be located in prime area for flippers in Compton. It looks like it's a few streets outside the incorporated portion of Compton which means no Compton inspections.

I am in need of a contractor who works in the Rancho Mirage, California area. Any leads to companies or people you have used before would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a client who is looking to purchase land in California and permit it for Cannabis growing and then renting out parcels for income. I haven't heard of this type of investment as most people grow on their own land and thought it was an interesting landlord tenant situation. 

Would love any info or leads in the direction of purchasing land, cannabis and renting land to grow agriculture.
