Is there any chance you can donate the land as a community garden?   

Funny, I just posted this exact question!   I found an abandoned house that's being vandalized by homeless, the neighbors are more than ready for it to be fixed up!

I've read about them on here before, but didn't write them down.  I'm still finding my way around this site, and of course can't find them again.

I've found an abandoned home, tracked the relatives, but they've moved.   What tracking services you any of you use?  I signed on to Spokeo for a trial, but am wondering if there are better ones out there.

Change the locks asap.   Then hire the dumpsters and get it gone.  Taking the time to sort through it all looking for stuff to sell, vs. it slowing down you beginning demo is a personal choice.

I went through this on my last flip, but surprise surprise, my realtors boss (who put the house in bankruptcy for the owners to save their other house) called me and said they wanted their stuff back!   Long story short, they got it out by 2pm that day, and I got my house cleared for demo.  :)
