Hi Everyone. My wife and I will be in Columbus, Ohio the second week of August and are looking to connect with realtors, PMs, Brokers, Contractors, etc. If you have any recommendations please reach out to me as we are looking to schedule meet ups while we are there.
Also if anyone has a good hotel/AirBnB recommendation that has easy access to the city that would also be appreciated!
Thanks in advance and look forward to our time in Columbus! Milo.

@Richard Gray III Welcome to the world of REI.!! I would say find an investor focused mortgage broker and realtor. Don't be afraid to interview them and see if they will be a fit for your goals. Also get comfortable analyzing deals, do not be in a rush to buy something just for the sake of buying something. The right deal often sticks out like a sore thumb when you are clear on what you are looking for. I'm open to connect if you'd like to chat more. Have fun along the way too, it's definitely a journey!

@Billy Daniel Multifamily Millions by David Lindahl is a great book. Also BP and Brandon Turner just released The Multifamily Millionaire so you should check that out as well. Good luck moving forward!!

@Erick Sembrano Congratulations! Looks like an interesting deal. The building looks similar to ones in Atlantic Canada that we have. Thanks for posting the photo!

@Marina Medina Welcome to BP. You will find a lot of great experience here. Have you thought of other strategies other than flipping? I’d be open to set up a chat and can maybe help you towards some resources. Feel free to DM me. All the best on your RE journey!

@Adrien Ulliac Secondary suites that are registered have to actually request for the second set of bins. If you request a second set of bins it usually takes a couple of weeks for them to be sent out. I’m not sure if you can get a second set of you don’t have a registered ( ie: legal suite). One possible work around is there is an oversized bin available at a higher extra monthly cost that may provide enough volume for multiple tenants, and of course that can come with “sharing” issues as well. If your unit is not registered, that or some type of private garbage removal may be your options at this time.

Hello Meagan and welcome. I think that connecting with people is definitely going to improve your success and time line. I would also recommend checking out Ryan Carr and it was great to see his name on here. I know him and he is very knowledgeable and an active investor. Feel free to reach out. I'd love to set up a chat and see if I can do anything to help you get more comfortable with your next steps.
