It’s time to begin my journey in building wealth
I remember when i first knew that real estate was going to be what i end up doing as my career/Life. Watching “extreme home make over” as a kid i loved it seeing the smile & tears of joy on the family faces walking in to their new home brought a smile to my face. As i got older i started to learn all the different ways i could be involved in real estate just opened my eyes to a whole new world. I started to talk to the people around me about investing and of course i had the people tell me i shouldn’t do it, it’s too risky & etc etc etc blah blah blah. Not knowing anyone around me that invest in real estate, and the fear of messing up has held me back long enough. I need to take action and surround myself with people who are like minded and encouraging instead of discouraging. I want to get my first property and I’ve been looking into duplex units.
Any quick tips on the process of getting my first investment property?
I’m in the DAYTON OHIO surround areas
Wish me luck as i begin my journey!!!!!

@Richard Gray III Congrats on getting started! I'd suggest joining all the local FB groups where wholesalers advertise their contracts for assignment, get set up with and MLS search and start networking as much as possible. If you are able/willing to, one of the best ways to get in a small multifamily is to house hack, that way you can put little money down and possibly still cash flow (depending on the property/size)
Best of luck to you and lean on your BP fam for support along the way!
