@Elizabeth Colegrove

Yeah the mistake we made when doing our corporate gypsy routine, was buying bigger and better houses.  There was some compensation in the relocation packages, but not the kind I hope you will enjoy.

@Tom Cyr

Thanks for the welcome.  I will keep the invitation in mind as we move forward.

@Vi Lai

Congratulations on your decision.  I am a lot, lot older and maybe not as wise as you.  I worked for corporation then a small consulting firm, then a big one, then started our own, and just now am starting in Real Estate investing.

While the consulting business can be professionally rewarding, it is still trading time and talent for cash.  Which with the incentives can be seductive in the short term, but long term it does not provide the security of investing in yourself.

Wising the best for you in your new venture.

Thanks for the welcome.

It worked.  I had tried about every variation but the correct one.

@Elizabeth Colegrove

My business partner is retired military, and got his start while on active duty.  He actually has more military moves than I have corporate moves.  He took advantage of building a rental portfolio, while I took advantage of corporate relo plans to acquire more equity in bigger and bigger houses.  I now think his approach was better.  But that is life.;-)
