Hey guys, this is an old thread but i'm jumping in to see if anything has changed since two years ago!  I'm from central CA and have done some investing here and in the Midwest, now looking in the Southeast.  Eventually looking to move out of CA and am exploring places to both invest in and move to.  I got interested in Chattanooga as a market that seems like it has been steadily growing and seems pretty stable, as well as business friendly.  Also interested in Knoxville and Memphis.  @Karen Margrave where did your friend end up investing?   To the others upselling Memphis, is it still your opinion that the city gives the best bang for the buck?   Thanks!

Hey Kay Kay,

I'm actually going to keep that information private at least for now as I'm still in the process of disentangling myself from them. I don't want to have anyone think that I'm putting out negative information about anyone especially if it might affect me financially. Also, i'm not into making any enemies around FW.  I’ve seen you pretty active on the forums etc, do you manage all your own or do you have a good agency that you use?

Hey Fort Wayne,

I'm looking for a property management agency in FW to manage my places.  Had to fire my last agency because of inadequate communication and low quality workmanship, so I'm looking for a higher quality agency.  An agency that can appreciate an owner/investor's vision for homes and a longterm view.   I'd appreciate ANY companies that anyone could recommend for me to research.   Thanks in advance!

Hey Good Morning guys,

@John Warren I'm open to both SFR and smaller multi's. I'm pretty experienced with SFR's now and am looking to move into multi's as I'm getting more experienced and wanting to move into better investments. I've been in the Fort Wayne market for a few years now with SFR's. A friend mentioned that South Bend might be a market ready to grow since there's revitalization going on. It really depends on a couple things: price and getting a good team in place to purchase, rehab as necessary, and rent out. I'm all ears for what you can tell me, or if I need to PM you i can do that as well. I'm new to BP so still figuring it all out!

@Vishal Didwania i'll be PM'ing you shortly.

Hey South Bend,

I'm looking to invest in the area and was wondering if anyone could recommend some reputable professionals for me.  I'm looking for a reputable agent and property management agency that are familiar with working with out of the area investors.  Also looking for reputable contractors in the area.   Thanks in advance!

Lol Letitia are you saying they get bid up til they're too high?

@Mark Silva thanks for the info.  Do they always have properties to auction, or is there a way to know before hand?  Or is it basically show up and wait for the little peephole to open and somebody says "go away, theres nothing for you here today!"  Thats great info tho, i'll definitly be checking it out.

@Kyle J. thanks for the clarification, still new to the foreclosure etc process, I need to look up the difference.  I thought the sales were the same.

Hi BP Modesto/Merced community...Can someone tell me if Modesto has REGULAR auction sales on the courthouse steps?   I went to the tax assessor's website and it shows a sale back in November but nothing about weekly or monthly sales, so i was wondering if they do regular ones?  How about Merced, do they do auctions at the courthouse?

Thanks for the info Camilla..  Do you know of local Facebook groups etc that I can join to be more plugged in to the area?  I joined "fort wayne rentals and fsbo" but are there any others?   Are there big businesses that you know of that are moving to the area to provide more jobs in fort wayne?
