lets say you make 10k self employment money. you will have to pay self employment tax of 15%, and also pay federal tax and any applicable state income tax.

little bit more. on my rentals I buy the same faucets and keep one as spare, I then call the companies and order replacement cartridges for all units and keep them as spare, so if I ever have a problem, I have the parts in stock to repair or replace the unit.
