Post: Problems finding the owner's address in a non-occupied home

My business partner and I are having trouble finding the owner's mailing address for his vacant home in San Bernardino County. Although it is very distressed, it really shows promise in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. I've tried several county records and tax assessor's links, but keep on running into this : Protected per CA Govt. Code Sect. 6254.21.

Any suggestions on how I could find it?

Much appreciated,

Miguel

Thanks Michael ! The properties are all in Riverside County, but I live in San Bernardino. Will any title company do or does it have to be one in Riverside? Do you have any recommendation of any good ones out here in the Inland Empire?

I'm a new investor based out of Southern California, primarily the Inland Empire. My partner and I went driving for dollars last week and found several distressed properties in our region. We have information on most of them but are having trouble finding the owner's full name on properties that are vacant. I feel these properties show the most investment potential as they are in bad shape and the mailing addresses from tax assessor's office are different from the site addresses. Any advice on how to pull more owner information so that I can direct mail them?

Much appreciated,

Miguel

Welcome Jeric! I'm new to the industry as well, based out of Colton. I hope to meet you soon at one of the local REIA meetings

Best of luck!
