I found a duplex in Indianapolis, Indiana with a high return in a class C area, 46222 area code to be exact. I plan to live in one unit and rent out the other side of the duplex. What are your thoughts about class C areas?

I was introduced to the FHA 203k loan. I currently live in south Florida and looking at properties that need some TLc and rehab. If I plan to house hack and live in an area that is lower class. What advice would you give about safety or if this is a good idea?

Thank you Stone. For hard money lenders, what would be your first step to find someone? Also to your knowledge, do you know if banks can refinance FHA 203k loans?

@Michael Robbins I have spoke with 1 mortgage broker that was referred to me by a friend who is a seasoned investor.   I am reaching out to another one tomorrow.   Do you have any broker referrals?
