Do both, possibly a duplex or a SFR with an inlaw apartment. Search here on BP for house hacking and decide if that option could work for you. Best of luck with your investment.

Is the condensation everywhere or just one room? Check the water meter when there's supposed to be no water running, is there a leak? Perhaps a plumber can help you to find the source of water, hard to believe it's all from outside humidity but keep some windows open a crack and determine if the humidity decreases. Last thought, is there a humidifier on the furnace? Turn it down. Best of luck with your investment.

You're welcome, also try knocking on a few neighbor's doors, someone knows something. Is the grass being cut? Shove a note stating your interest under all doors, including the garage. Send a yellow letter, perhaps the mail is being forwarded. Again, good luck.

Maybe put in a personal visit to the local assessor's office and explain your problem. Thinking one mailing address for the tax bill should be public record and you go from there. Best of luck with your investment.

There's a lot to sort out here. You own two properties and there's some uncertainty with your job and income? Retirement planning is gonna have to be a low priority for now while conserving cash and maintaining a positive monthly cash flow should be higher on your list of concerns. Take a breath, think things over and post a few if/then questions here on BP for comment. Best of luck with your investment.

Do not allow your tenant to work on your property. Big liability if he gets hurt or sick. Do this work yourself or hire a pro. Maybe even get a couple of quotes from other sources. Best of luck with your investments.

Follow the money, who's paying the taxes?  A BP search will give you names for some online skip tracing services. Best of luck with your investment.

The bank will ask if he saved the money and want proof of income and ability to repay the loan. Otherwise you are gifting him the down payment and will have to write a letter saying so. Kids change their mind and I would wait until he's accepted at 'Cuse before buying property. Best of luck with your investment.

Depends on the type of heat and how big a house. Forced air is pretty easy if the furnace has enough capacity but hot water is a no-go. Get some contractors in there for an estimate. Best of luck with your investment.
