So I just ordered a wireless system from Amazon. Perhaps it will work for my needs.

FYI

$90.00

@Account Closed

This is also a great idea. The system is wireless and does not require internet or phone line.

Thank you!

@Kyle Gray

Thank you! That's a great idea with very little investment.

Another question that needs help from my peeps!

Whether or not you have had a property vandalized/robbed it must be a concern for most when rehabbing or vacant, right? Regardless of the crime rate in the area this concern has been with me over the past few properties. We tend to have $?$ worth of product/equipment at the job. Most of which we leave over night. We try to take the major equipment home but sometimes I leave early or do not go to the job at. Regardless of equipment there is always the fear of the property being vandalized.

If you have this concern, what have you done to ease your mind?

WOW! I know from experience how you feel. Recently had the same problem and asked BP for help. While my questions were not the same you can review the post for additional information.

Post: Anyone tile over tile in a shower? Tips or regrets?

@Marian Smith

I've never tiled over tile however I did contemplate doing so. Had two tiled showers from 1992 that needed to be redone in my first flip. While researching tiling over existing tile I found that it can be done and there are several videos on YouTube. In my situation I found that it would create more problems regarding my edges, plumbing and glass surround. Therefore I decided to tear it all out.

Two walk in showers, both were custom sized that would not work with pans I could purchase from HD or Lowe's. So I built a custom pan using floor mud with "RedGard as the liquid waterproofing. This was extremely easy and was my first time doing so. Watched YouTube "custom shower pan".

Thought I'd share my little experience on shower pans.

Ok, well.... I googled your name because I was going to make a joke after you asked how to upload a picture. The joke was going to be that you had to meet the "under 30 requirement".

When doing so several results come up one of them being your Facebook page. Looked at several of your pictures before leaving the site as I do not have a Facebook and the annoying popup keep asking me to sign in.

Also, If you are speaking to someone on here and want them to be notified of the response you can put @ in front of the persons name as I have done with yours above.

Cannot do it on my cell but once on the laptop there is a "Image" button next to the "Post Reply".

After sending photos from cell to email on laptop I clicked and dragged image into the box that opens after pressing the "Image" button.

I see the hallway renovation you did. Looks great!

@Grant Lin

Looked everywhere and could not find one. That's the problem with taking pictures on my phone and not uploading them. Once my memory gets low I start deleting.

Once I realized the extra tread needed to be at the top it was easy. In my situation the carpet was thick and a reducer was all that was needed.

Thank you for the kind words!
