Hello all!

I just learned about the Wrap around mortgage. Is it too good to be true? I have been wanting to get into a real estate property and live in an expensive area ($300-400k average home) but came across a couple pre-foreclosed homes and thought this would be a good way to get started? Would love to hear your thoughts and the downside to this option?

Hello everyone!

I have spent a couple years getting educated about Real Estate and the only thing I feel holding me back is $$$$$$$. I live in Kalispell, MT, sometimes referred to as (Cali-spell). It has become a hot spot and average house on the market starts at $325K. How would I even get started in BRRRR in this market? I would need help with a downpayment, but I am in construction and can save a lot of cost by doing things myself. I've got the hustle, just need some structure and guidance.

Hello Everyone!

I have inherited a house that is paid off and has really set my family up for success. It is 5 bedrooms, 2 car garage, underground pool, 2 story brick house. I have since updated it and planned on selling it to move into a nicer area and a smaller house, because it is too big for my family. My goal has been to get into rental properties, so I was thinking instead of selling it, maybe I should just rent it out and use the equity in the house to buy a smaller one and eventually rent it out as well and repeat.

I am curious how you would suggest going about this opportunity if it were you? Basically I have been handed a free house and have the opportunity to use it in my favor, but have little experience.

Hey Everyone,

I am very much new to everything and have been trying to read and get educated as much as possible. I currently live in Kalispell, MT 30 minutes from Glacier National Park and 10 Minutes from Whitefish,Mt Ski resort. I come from Ohio where the market is amazing but living in my area of Montana is incredibly hard to purchase a home. There is a lot of money in this area as many people live here for the summers + a lot of people have moved here post-covid from California. I would love to get started in real estate whether that is owner-occupied, multi-family or anything to get my feet wet. I would have to lean into an investor to get started but really looking to hear where to start in an area like mine? What would your approach be with the experience you have? I am looking to be led while doing the work that needs to happen.

@Jason D. why would someone choose an investor instead of the bank?

I am moving to northwest Montana where buying a house is expensive because it is close to a resort town. How exactly does having an investor work? I have the "time" part of working with rentals but not the money. If i used an investor what money do I make in that deal?

Hello, I am 22 years old and about to graduate. I am interested in house hacking a duplex in the near future, but I am still trying to get educated on real estate as this is something I would like to start as a hobby. I will have college debt which will be the only debt I have. Am i qualified to step into this? This scares my wife as she is eager to pay off our debt and getting a mortgage scares her even more... Tips and how to explain this are appreciated! Thanks! #Newbie

Hello! I am 22 years old and approaching graduation for college and a year in marriage. I have an uncle who owns 11 rental properties and he has really got me into loving the idea of investing in real estate. Where would you recommend me to start after seeking education of real estate overall? He has recommended me to start with a duplex and experiment from there.
