Hi everyone!

My name is Meghan, I currently live in Hampton, VA. Prior Navy and husband is active duty. We have 1 rental. We have been thinking about moving and making our current home a second rental vs selling it. Listening to one of the older episodes, there was a tip that said your current home is your next rental.... perfect sense. In the process of trying to see if we can do that. Then my plan is to take the equity out of our current rental that we have had since 2012 and buy a vacation rental before next summer.

I am from NC, but was stationed in VA and thats where i met my husband. We lived in SC for a little but are now stationed in Hampton Roads, and plan to be here until he retires. Goals are to get a rental a year until he retires. We do SFH right now, but I want to expand to multi families. Would love to learn other avenues of investing, espec flipping and wholesaling.

If any investors local wouldnt mind me shadowing and tagging along to everything, I am eager to grunt work! I have great organization, can clean, yardwork your vacant properties, write yellow letters, stuff envelopes, post ads, whatever you need.

Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction!!

Hi @Delila Torres

I am new to BP too. Currently have 1 rental in NN and hoping to have my second within the next month. Also trying to learn more about WS and fix n flips. Can't offer much in help, but definitely here to network, connect and grow together!

@Ray Lai Sorry... i didnt know BP had my husbands old account pulled up! Tried to delete and reply with my account. But I was using the search feature and reading about DM campaigns. In the middle of handwriting some letters to homes I have found in my neighborhood and on my D4$.

If you have any templates or scripts to use for when the phone rings, I will take all the help I can get! Thank you!

@Jc Galang currently only have the 1 rental. Have had it and did not really think we wanted to get more. Just kind of fell into it when husband got stationed somewhere else 6 years ago. But was listening to a podcast, i forgot what show #, i think the one where they had like 13 people on giving their #1 tip. But they said the house you are living in now is your next rental. We had been thinking about moving. Had met with realtor to sell this house and buy another, but A Ha moment... working on getting this one rented and move to another. Then planning on taking HELOC out of first rental to purchase another rental within 6-8 mos time frame after we move. Looking at vacation rentals.

Hi! I am just starting in wholesaling but I have found a few scripts. There is one person on the site, I think Karl... he had a site called The Red Pill Investor that had a great script i printed out.

I completely understand that JC... that happens all the time with my job. But I still never was like I will find something else. It was kind of just 'well it is what it is'. But honestly, covid happening. I am a RN so I still worked, but i stayed home for about 3 months during the height of it bc our daycare was closed and then I didnt want to bring my son back at first. And I dont live near any family and my husband was deployed so I couldnt quarantine if I did get exposed from my 18 month old. But I did enjoy being home and was kind of researching at nights financial freedom and real estate always came up. Have had a rental property for years now and was like duh, lets do more.

So glad I found this site/podcast. Have had a rental for about 6 years now. Since Covid happened and being quarantined, started reading more about real estate investing and want to do more. In the education phase and trying to determine my niche. Thank you!
