@Sol Kassam, @Brian Hill check out Kingston/Poulsbo. Much more chill and charming than Bremerton, and now with the Kingston fast ferry, easy and quick access to downtown Seattle. Ping me if you're interested in learning more. I live in Poulsbo, moved here from Mercer Island last year and love it.

@Einat Menashe, look outside Seattle. Kitsap County (where I am), Snohomish County, and Pierce County are worth looking at, though pay attention to the tax rates. Good luck!

Seconding @Jake Alger re. Seattle's laws! I advise my investor clients to stay out of the City. I moved from Mercer Island to Poulsbo over the summer and LOVE it here! Cute small town, great people, and yes, I do still work in the Seattle/Eastside market. (I'm an agent; my husband and I have our own company). I do the ferry commute via Bainbridge once/twice each week and it's great. Takes me an hour to get from my house in Poulsbo to downtown Seattle and it's much more scenic and chill than sitting in traffic trying to get from say, Capital Hill to Ballard or SLU to Bothell! Hit me up if you have more ?s about the Kitsap side. It's so much more affordable here and now that the fast ferry is running from Kingston to downtown, more people are paying attention to Kitsap.
