Post: PA Broker wanting to Establish Brokerage In Ohio

Hello Everyone,

I am currently a real estate broker in PA and I am considering opening a brokerage in Ohio. Can someone please tell me the requirements to do this?

I'm wondering if there is a fast-track option or if I will need to complete all the agent licensure requirements below:

- Hold agent license for two years

- Accumulate 40 transaction points

- Complete educational requirements

Can someone knowledgeable in this area please advise?

Thanks!

Sorry i should have added more info on my original post. I have 300 scattered site properties and will likely have 1000 more in the next 3 years. I do not want to spend all day working in excel. I am looking for a software that i can plug in data, and the program will do the work for me.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a asset management software for tracking the life of an asset from acquisition evaluation to its sale? I want to create and track capital budgets, store property data like sale price, loan terms, run property and portfolio calculations/analytics, etc - Asset mgmt stuff.

I currently work for a property management company using AppFolio, but the software is limited to PM functionality and is not tailored to Asset Mgmt.

Thanks in advance for any feedback you can provide!

I know this is an old post, but did you find an asset mgmt software solution? I'm in the market for one.

@Eddie Werner Do you have any experience in starting a landlord association? Or know anyone who does?

@Ryan Murdock

In what areas/towns are the parks located? Knowing the specific locations will allow me to determine the contact.

I would like to start a landlord association in my area, but have no idea what is involved to accomplish this. As I live in a pretty low population area, there is not and has never been an organization like this. Can anyone who has done this offer any advice on the correct steps to take?

Thanks in advance!

Post: Locating Specific REO Property Info

Can anyone provide information or advice on how to locate specific REO property info?

I work for a real estate investment company in a small town where we are hoping to clean up some of the vacant/rundown/bank owned properties, but I'm having trouble locating good information to contact banks.

Any help or advice on how to go about this would be appreciated. Our market is very small, but we are hoping to invest local first before moving into larger, more competitive markets.
