@rick stein I think that’ll be my best bet if I want to try and make some cash for setting a deal up!

Ok a little more details. My uncle wants to invest using an FHA loan. House hack for a year and then move on. If anybody have any listings anywhere in the City of Chicago or the surrounding areas please let me know. If not I’ll just find him something and he can go through a realtor. Has to be multi family will be great if it has a store front! Thanks in advance.

I have a buyer approved with 130k FHA loan and about 20-30k in cash. I know what type of property he want how do I go about finding a deal for him?
Hello, I have been reading REI books, reading BP post and blogs, attending Brandon's podcasts every week, and also recently found a REI mentor who lets me help and learn from his fix and flips! I am very serious about REI and decided to go back to college after 2 semesters off. I know that the debt is unavoidable but my question is if I'm good in math and and working with numbers, and love business(someday want to be a CEO or entrepreneur) what major/minor should I look into that can help me obtain a nice FT career(not a job) that has a nice salary so once I finish college I can pay off my loans and invest in RE comfortably. I was thinking something with computer engineering or business. Also some questions I have for you guys. Did you graduate college? If so, what degree do you have? What is your annual salary? (If you don't mind answering) Also

Wow! Nice. So fix-and-flip. Do you mind if you post your numbers...Sale price, paid price, ARV, Reno numbers? And by 51k do you mean profit?

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie on the forums this is my first post, so far this site has been interesting. I have read over 10+ posts, attended the last webinar starring Brandon, and listened to a few podcasts. I just turned 20 years old as of 2015 so I am not rushing anything. However, REI has been my passion since I was a kid. I have 700+ credit and still finding ways to increase it, but I need to start reading books to gain more knowledge and networking. I am located in Chicago so far I have two mentors. My aunt who is the top accountant of AVIV REIT(which is currently being sold) and the Shayne Evans; Director and CEO of the University of Chicago Public Schools. They are here for support and networking but have limited knowledge about REI. So if I could get any suggestions on a list of "must-read" books about REI. Also I am kind of confused on if there is a difference between a simple real estate license or real estate broker's license.

In advance thanks!!
