Hi,

I just got this list of school district from TX. My purpose is to buy one or two properties from possible recent opportunity and keep it for long time.

Can someone help me figure out which school district are good to buy in properties ?

thanks @Kevin Dougherty and @Percy N. ... I do have access to MLS and did some research on comps. overall it's in Malvern Area. u was jot sure about gut cost and timings.

@Greg Marconi, You are right. I totally understand that and had my own situation in PA where my own house got flooded in winter due to pipe burst... The important thing that people can do it so get up to speed on recovery. My personal experience is that water and heat does not go well.....

I agree with about two reply. Don't use zillow.. you need to have real estate person run the comparable sold in last 6 months. 

Sometimes, depends on location land value (location) is higher then actual house. so you need to factor all those in....

Hi,

Just came across property selling it for around 90k.. I did some research on comparable and other houses close to that area and those are selling it for ~300 to 400K.... I was wondering if that would be a great investment for me.

1) Purchase for 90k

2) unknown gut cost

3) Rebuilding cost - 150K (for multi family unit and keep one and sell another)

4) sell it ..

 But I think it comes down to total gut cost .. any ideas ?

thank you, @Rich Baer, @Michael Biggs ,@Everett Fujii ,@Jay Jasunas ... the situation is that..no 1 person bought it from auc dot com, backed out, auc dot com said they have another buyer, send email to no 1 buyer that you are off the hook for this txn...and sold it to no 2.

thank you guys. this seems to be my issue.... bank foreclosed property and bank has the keys. rather than selling ontrendbank sold it through auction dot com. that has HOA lien which needs to be satisfied. since bank sold it as is where is through auction terms, there seems to be problem to determine who needs to pay HOA fees. HOA needs money from bank, bank sold that as is where is, and buyer wants bank to pay that hoa...bank saying I sold that as is where is with all the lien through auction.com.....
