@Scott Schirmer@Bud Gaffney

Welcome to a St. Louis Forum. There is certainly opportunity for great investments in St. Louis, especially on the Cashflow side of the equation. Much of the negative press surrounding St. Louis is really isolated to a handful of troublesome neighborhoods. If you have any interest in learning more about our city and what investment deals may look like I would love to connect. I know @Nathan Murith is also an out of state investor who has found some success in our market. I look forward to connecting

@Tyson Evans

As a local agent, investor, and representative for property management company, I'm sorry you've experienced this. Choosing the right property manager can truly make or break an investment and is not a decision to take lightly. I'd highly recommend having a conversation with a few PM to see which company may offer the best services that most closely align with your goals, vision, and ideal professional working relationship. If you're looking to connect with a new potential PM I'd love to connect and hear a little bit more about your goals. I'm here locally, born and raised and would be happy to serve as a resource as you determine your next steps. I look forward to connecting and hearing back from you.

@Mustafa Nemat Ali

I am a local investor and real estate professional here in St. Louis. for the last several years, we've helped many out of state and international investors begin building their portfolios here in St. Louis. Very robust rental market, great price to rent ratios, and landlord friendly legislation makes St. Louis a very desirable cashflow destination for many investors. Our team is able to help provide management services, construction, and more, making the investing process very seamless for someone who is not local. Furthermore, we have offices in almost all of the cities that @James Wise mentioned in his post, making it possible to grow together if you have interest in several markets. If you would like to learn more about St. Louis I would love to connect and serve as a local resource to help answer any of your questions and begin building a local team. I look froward to hearing back and staying in touch.

Hello @Sunny S.

I just saw this post and was curious if you've entered the St. Louis market yet. I am born and raised here and have been actively investing and working full time in real estate for the last 4 years. There are a bunch of exciting investment opportunities in our city whether you're looking for exceptional cashflow or fix and flip properties. If you were still looking to build or grow your St. Louis portfolio I'd love to connect and hear more about your goals, and provide any guidance I can. I look forward to hearing back and serving as a local resource.

I try to stay super active in the REI community here locally, and there are a bunch of great meetups and events where you can really build your teams and turn the vision into reality. Welcome to STL and I look forward to chatting more!

@Christopher Barnes Belleville is a level up from Cahokia in my opinion. If, however you're not completely set on investing in Illinois, I'd strongly suggest checking out some of the Missouri side markets. I'd be happy to be resource for any questions you have or services you may need as you get up and running here in STL.

St. louis, MO and the Midwest region continue to be recognized nationally and locally as top areas to start a new business. Missouri is a very business and landlord friendly state with low taxes and low cost of living. What a combination for a new business. What do you all think of Missouri and the Midwest in general? I'm born and raised in Stl, so may be a bit biased but I think it's a great city to invest in and my 30 units are performing very well with little concern of any type of major value "crash" just due to the dynamics of our market. I'd love to hear from others and also provide insight to anybody with any questions regarding the St. Louis market.
