It doesn't matter what the answer is 'cause my CPA will beat up your CPA anyday...and that, in the end, means he is right.

Sorry to derail the thread...

Back to the OP. The best advice I can give is keep networking with others in your market, and get some referrals to good RE attorneys and CPA's. Tell them what you want to do and hear what they have to say.

In my market, a good atty. will charge about $500-$700 to help you determine what entity is good for you and help you with your filing.

Hope that helps.

MFA from UMKC in.... Acting and Directing
Undergrad in Theatre - Temple

Worked as a professional actor and professor for a while and then my interests shifted.

Absolutely the best degree for Sales :)

While it has been helpful, if I were to do it all over again, I would have done accounting and economics and taken a position in Finance.

I know, I know, they are totally related.

I was wondering how long it would take :)

...I am contractually obligated to recognize this day "Till death do us Part". :)

I lived across from an elemantary school for almost two years. It was great.

Granted, recess/gym during the warm months was from 10:00am until 3pm but if you like the sounds of kids playing then no worries.
Also, there are no registered offenders near you, if you have kids.

We liked it and had no issues selling.

Josh,

Thanks for starting this thread. I am about to get into this situation and would love to hear everyone's experiences.

Bryan, as far as competing goals, could you elaborate? Were they too similar? Like two chefs - one kitchen?

Mike,

I thought you looked familiar, nice email :)

You didn't get that job because of our Eastern European heritage and that HR rep forgot how to use the "Z" key :)

Also, [email protected] takes FOREVER to spell out to people!

Especially since it is pronounced:
Lev-CHEN-ko people always ask how its spelled?... Just like it sounds! duh!
