Why should I need to pay out of pocket to exercise my right to free speech or freedom of the press? I would like to ask both of you who responded to this in a negative manner where you stand in the real estate business my assumption is that you are property managers not investors am I correct in this statement?

Incase you didn't read my posting correctly it states I told a "true" story, thus the best defense to defamation.

I appreciate the true meaning of the First Amendment, however we must maintain our freedom of press, which utilizes the First Amendment rights to protect us from the government, and if the government steps in and decides that laws are to be written or have been written to protect the corporation from freedom of press is that not a violation of our rights?

I would like to cite the scandalous investment situation I say no names because I am now fearful of law suits and so therefore I will state that everything I post is strictly opinionated; should people have the right to express their cases publicity because it is not in direct correlation to the First Amendment Rights protecting us form the government? Back to the financial case, I understand it, when there was evidence of wrong doing 7 years ago, and theoretically speaking this could have been stopped given enough momentum on the web, these actions would have been perceived as defamation and therefore would not have been allowed to surface on the internet. And even if these statements would not be perceived by the general public as defamation and simply opinion the lawyers out there interpreting the law would disagree and therefore a heavy lawsuit would be filed and the deepest pockets win. In this financial case guess who has the deeper pockets?! Is that right? Why don’t we get the opinions of the folks affected by this scandal?

Is this not the purpose of the internet and rating systems; to allow transparency of company’s transactions and services offered, a buyers tool to hiring a good ethical company? If we take away the right to rate a company what tools does the buyer possess? In my opinion scandals would be minimized if it were not for companies like the company suing me and strong arming me out of helping the public understand exactly what type of business they represent. The purpose of government is to protect its citizens, if they take the transparency form the marketplace how is that protection? I would be so bold to say it puts the consumer / citizen in grave danger.

Do you mean sizes? I was asking square ft. I was aking what rent price was getting recieved for these properties, what type of prperties are a hot topic over seas, I know nothing about overseas real estate investing however I know enough about domestic investing my goal was to get a feel for the international oppourtunites out there, are they positive cash flow? Are you buying on a growth play? A flip play? Whats the ROI, kind of all the normal generic questions, however I am most interested in multi family properties, so wondering if you know much about the oppourtunities else where.

If a property management company has not treated you well don't you think you should have the right to warn your fellow Real Estate Investors out there?

I feel the responsibility to my fellow Real Estate Investors to let them know if a company is not preforming the way they ought to (at least in the opinon of a property owner)

I am being sued for "a minimum of $100,000" for telling a ture story about a property management company in Colorado.

Any recomendations? Anyone out there support my defence our First Amendment Right to tell our stories to our fellow Real Estate Investors when a company takes advantage of us?

As I understand it, as long as it is in writing and you dispute it is the credit companies responsibility to contact the company that has a bad report on your credit. So if you want to put them to work I do belive they HAVE to research each and every dispute that you submit. So . . . . Why not?!

Ok folks lets be real here, it doesn't matter what the stock market does or the real estate market does, the truth is there are amazing positive cash flow deals out there right now! When you come across a positive cash flow property does it matter what is going on around it or under it?

Let me argue with my own post to save a lot of peoples breath. . . Slippery slope, I am well aware of the slipperty slope, example, 401(K)s decrease, housing bust and people get nervous and stop spending, thus business decreases, thus people lose their jobs, can't pay rent, no renters, must lower rent, lower to lower than positive cash flow, lose your rental, lose you credit. Lose your own house!!!!!

I'll answer my own argument with this statement, if you are thinking the above terribleness, congratulations for being on this site but you don't belong.

Real Estate investors are positive thinkers, and if you can get a deal that pays you money every month WHY NOT?!

If your market offers positive cash flow properties, you HAVE hit bottom in the real estate bust, buy quick buy often and buy confident!!!!

All statments are based on personal opinion, that is the best part about these sites OPINION!!!
