Hey @Sherita Owens

The way I got started was by rubbing shoulders with investors who were already seeing alot of success. I know of a great local group! If you would like to meet several investors in the Chicagoland area in person, I can most certainly point you in the right direction. PM me if you are interested and I will make an introduction for you!

Hey @Elliott Hamdeed

I am part of a Real Estate Investing group located in the Cherry Creek area. If you are interested in acquisition strategies, raising private capital, tax and legal structuring, accelerated mortgage paydown and/or buying rentals or doing fix and flips/wholesaling, I recommend you check out what we do. We cover just about everything. I would love to have you as my guest at one of our next events! PM if you are interested. Thanks.

Hello fellow Denverite! You can call just about any title company to order an O&E Report. Depending on what you are inquiring title information for, an O&E Report will most likely suffice. Sometimes you can get them free but usually cost a few dollars. It will show all Owners and Encumbrances on the subject property. A complete title search, which is more in depth than an O&E can also be done through a title company.

Personally, I like to call a gentleman named Beau Lapointe at Chicago Title in Denver. BP wont allow me to post his office number but Im sure you can locate it if you do a simple google search. Good Luck!

Rod, If you are serious about making that money grow, I recommend using some of that cash to get yourself properly educated before moving forward with a not fully understood strategy. This has worked tremendously for me and I still follow the principles set forth by business philosopher, Jim Rohn. Jim says "Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job, you can make a living; if you work hard on yourself, you can make a fortune."
