Hey @Matt Petrovski did you list the rental or did your represent the buyer? Either way I don't think it will make a difference. Make sure its documented so that when the lease is signed that amount will be credited to tenant.

Thanks @JOAN DICKIE I'm going to be creating all my social media handles today. I'll be sure to ask my coach to ensure everything is on the up and up in regards to my usernames.

Good evening BP, I recently received my real estate license and currently working part time at Keller Williams Northville/Novi Market Center in Novi,MI. My plan is to eventually go full time and continue to grow my business.

My question is as a new agent should I create new handles for my social media outlets to promote my business or should use my current ones?(personal) I know Facebook is a key marketing tool but my current employers follow me. Not sure how they will take it if they see me marketing to potential buyers or sellers.

@Ryland Taniguchi

thanks for the insight on KW and also congrats on all your success so far in your  career. The broker of the office I spoke of in my post is featured in The Million Dollar Investor book because her success as an agent and  investor. So I'm hoping they wont frown upon me if I choose to expand into wholesaling or flipping. Wholesaling is still very appealing to me but I wanted to get my r/e license  as a way to get  more familiar with real estate business in general.

Good Afternoon Everybody,

I plan on  obtaining my license in the next couple weeks(exam on 8-29-15) I took my 40rs course at the Keller Williams market center in Northville(suburb outside of Detroit) If I choose to hang my license here my monthly cost would probably be around 170$ is this normal for license expenses?(office fee, technology fee,realot.com access for listing, etc)

They have a great training program so I  would have to take that into consideration but I have really been thinking about  checking out some other brokers in the area before I made my final decision.
