Is anyone able to make the Wednesday evening meet up?  

We will be meeting at RA Sushi in the Shops at Legacy at 5:30pm.  RA Sushi is located on the Northside of the shops next to Mexican Sugar.

Happy Friday.  I wanted to make a reservation for the evening meetup next week.  My plan is to do it at the Shops at Legacy again.  I think we could do RA sushi or Pepper Smash.  Let me know if anyone has a preference or any other suggestions.

Thanks for your help with the ideas of tracking down people.  So far I haven't had a ton of luck getting in touch with homeowners, my partner has had some more luck but hasn't been able to close any deals yet.  With the auction looming around the corner it will be very hard to close in time before the house hits the auction steps.

Does anyone know how often the homes go back on the foreclosure list?  It looks like quite a few of them have been on there before, maybe 50%....  I am guessing this is evidence of the banks trying to get the homeowner back on track.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for coming out yesterday.  We had a good turnout and a ton of great discussion.

Some people have asked to have an evening meeting as well since it is hard for people to come at lunch.  I am gonna go ahead and schedule both one for the evening and one for lunch, feel free to come to whichever ones you want.  

Lunch Meetup: May 18th at 12p, location TBD at Shops at Legacy

What do you do once you figure out it is abandoned?  I guess my thinking is most people just give up without putting a ton of effort into trying to figure out who the person is and getting in touch with them.  I am not sure, I guess I will find out how to do it.  It cant be that hard

Door knocking went well this weekend.  My friend had a much higher response rate than I did.  He talked to several people and they were all positive at least.  The two people I got in touch with, over the phone, were much more pissed.  He has some promising prospects.

A lot of the houses I went to I think are abandoned or have someone hiding out in them.  Have you guys had any experience with them?  I was thinking about using Intelius to try and track them down...

I will let you know if we can get one of the deals to close.

I am glad there are so many responses. I made a reservation at Nikolas for 15 people, hopefully that will be enough. Just an FYI parking can be a pain but there is a good parking lot next to Scruffy Duffies which usually has spaces.
