@Elise Marquette

Thank you again for your help! I’ll keep that in mind. Curious to know, do you lend or do loans in CA?

@Elise Marquette

Hi Elise,

Thanks for your response. Yes I would occupy it part of the time and meet all the other qualifications. There were 2 markets I was considering. 1 is about 50 miles away from my current 2nd home and another about 88 miles away. Would there be potential issues with any of those? Thanks again!

Curious to know the requirements for 2nd home/vacation home financing in different markets. Currently live in LA area and have a 2nd home/vacation home out in the desert. Was curious to know if you can have multiple vacation homes with 2nd home/vacation home financing and what are the requirements for that. Is there a particular distance these vacation homes have to be from each other in order to qualify? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

@Adrian I.

I would stay clear. The last thing you want is to have unwanted attention/complaints about your property from neighbors.

Agree with we everyone here. We have purchased the Zinus 12 in green tea memory foam mattresses. They are amazing and bought them on Amazon. They come well packaged and expand for quick set up.

@Basit Siddiqi

Hi Basit. Yes they have a Philippines bank account and will most likely be depositing it to that account initially. They would then like to transfer that monies to their bank account here in the US. The amount is substantial and would most likely be over the 10k. So I assume they would pay Philippine tax on the sale. Would they have any issue transferring those monies to the US? Would you happen to have an idea on how those monies are taxed here? They live in CA and the other in NJ. Thanks

@Jason Lam

Thank you for the information. So there is no limit on the sale monies transfer to the US? And to be clear, they will need to report the sale on US tax returns but can get credit from the 6% paid in Philippines?
