I do agree with that @Brian Mathews

I was wondering more on the side of advertising to the general consumer. Not just the homes my company manages. I'm looking at a 2-3 employee based start up with plans for expansion.

I wondering if anyone (I guess mostly Property Management companies) has added a Handyman (not remodeling) service to there business. If any of you have lets talk about how this looks.
I wonder to if this isnt the forum for this. I have seen where lots of people post "Where to find, Or need to find or This Handyman did me wrong......" But, I havent seem much talk of or if any talk about owning or operating a handyman service along with Property Management

First thanks for all the good replies!!!

@Steve Merren. I would love to speak with a realtor in the GH area and a property manager as well. I plan to vist the area in a few weeks and want to jave some contacts and relationships before I go up. I have blind called a few but via phone and emails I have found that right one yet.

@Susan Gillespie. I would not be going to the Austin meet up but thank you for posting about it. I'm still trying to find that Property Mnanger for VR's that I would want to have my property with. I'm a PM in Indiana so I know what I want but not how it all works on a VR. Rates, fees, cleaning and repairs in that area are all still big questions?

Agreed @Patrick Snyder I found that last night.

The big driver for all of this is my wife! She is a wonderful business women, great wife, and an even better mother!!!!! She loves the MI beach of GH and she has always wanted to live close to a beach. So I want to give that to her. Our family vacations in GH have been some of our favorites.

I'll keep looking and keep learning. Thanks again for all input!

@patrick. I agree with you. I haven't look at G.H. for awhile. At that time G.H. Was way to high of price point for me. But I'm looking again. We vacation there every summer as well and love it!!!!

Very true @Aaron. I wondered about that as well. I have been following a few VRBO vacation home listings in that area as well.

Thanks for your input
