Ryan thank you- I did do some research. You were right about the bylaws not allowing the condo to be rented. It was one of those situations where I got excited to just do my first deal. Condos are not in my business plan at all. So lesson learned. I appreciate your reply.

I am looking at a condo this week that a client had mentioned to me. Her parents lived here for 30+ years and have moved to a smaller place. What is of great benefit to me, is the option of owner financing. The goal is to do some updating (in the ballpark of 7k tops) and then do a lease to own or sell it. Do the renting/ leasing laws change when it comes to being a condominium? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everybody! I am new to this site and new to investing in real estate. I am a partner in a commercial, residential, and construction cleaning company. I have been interested in buying an investment property for many years- but now I've finally made up my mind to dedicate the time and energy necessary to actually do it.
