I am looking at a condo this week that a client had mentioned to me. Her parents lived here for 30+ years and have moved to a smaller place. What is of great benefit to me, is the option of owner financing. The goal is to do some updating (in the ballpark of 7k tops) and then do a lease to own or sell it. Do the renting/ leasing laws change when it comes to being a condominium? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure to check the HOA bylaws. I know of two people who got jammed up because they didn't allow for renting.

Check the comps on the resale, normally condos are a weaker marker on a sale than SFH and prices can fluctuate widely, since the prospective buyers are fewer.
