I passed my exam this week and have been searching online looking at the different Broker options. After days of looking I'm no closer to making a decision.

Primarily I took the exam so I could sell/buy my own properties. I am interested in being an agent part-time and would like to start doing property management either in the future when I can take the Broker exam or if I find a Broker who would allow it.

I have looked at some online based Brokers and really like the flat fee commission options. $500 or 10% whichever is less sounds good, but I'm sure there is value in the face to face I'd get in a local office and the training they may provide.

I would LOVE to hear opinions one this from others with some experience. Thanks!

Hello, I'm Maria and so glad to have found this forum/site! I currently live in the Tri-Valley area, originally from Mountain View (better known as Googleville these days) and still work in MV.

I have two rental properties, lived there and moved without selling over the years, and am considering selling the condo to invest in a flip or a single family rental instead. Ready to be done with hoa and the fees.

Since I haven't had the best experiences with real estate agents I decided to get my real estate license before making my next move. Passed the test on Monday (Yay!) and now I'm trying to figure out the best broker for me to hang my license. Since I've been self managing my rentals for the last 10 years and feel I have a good handle on it I am also interested in property management, but I know it's tricky if not impossible without a broker license. Would love any advice on that!

I've had a chance to listen to a few podcasts, randomly in no particular order, and they are great! Almost wishing I had to do the commute more often so I had more time to listen. ;-)
