Good evening guys and gals! I just moved to Kansas City, MO from Omaha, NE and going to continue my wholesaling business here. I’m looking to learn about the local meetups and connect with other investors. Feel free to reach out via messages or on this post. Thanks, Keith

@Nicolas Lopez awesome man that’s great to hear that! Congratulations!! I remember jumping in my self and making a post regarding how excited I was! It’s a ton of work/hustle but doesn’t even feel like it bc I truly enjoy driving for dollars, cold calling, marketing etc. My best piece of advice would be to stay consistent try not to get too hung up on “deals” that aren’t deals! it’s on to the next! Remember you’re just ONE deal away my friend! Good luck!!

Also while you’re educating you’re self at this time I’d recommend reading Rhinoceros Success, The Go Giver, Never Split The Difference and listening to Wholesaling Inc. podcast faithfully!

@Terry Ellis thank you for your kind words sir! I’ll definitely be at the next meet up so I’m sure I will see you there. Maybe we can talk more about this side of investing! It’s never too late and to me all that matters is the fact you’re doing it now! Congrats and I look forward to meeting you at the next meet up!

@Kevin Wint helping the seller is definitely the property however I wasn’t able to in this case.

That’s awesome you jumped into wholesaling as well! I enjoy every bit of it and look forward to getting to that first deal! Which I feel like is it right! I can feel it! Good luck to you as well sir! And thank you for your response. I defiantly had a gut feeling I should pass and ultimately I’m happy I did bc no one should want to get something under contract while running the rush of ruining their credibility!

@Oraude Boston you’re absolutely right. I got caught up in getting that first deal and shaded away from the basics. I definitely appreciate your response and giving me more clarity. It’s always better to get an opinion from someone else! So thank you sir!

@Lydia T. Wow thank you for taking time to write that to me. That definitely put things into perspective and gave me better incite. I feel like I really wanted that first deal so I was tying up too much of my time into trying to make that work. I passed on it and moving onto the next one. Thanks for all your help!

@Terry Ellis Awesome man! You'll love it. Ive been wholesaling for about 4 months or so still looking for my first deal. Best of luck to you as well!

Originally the seller wanted 140k which there would be no way at that price. I tried to get her to come down to 120k but would not given she just recently paid 114k. As of today seller is willing to sign my contract for 130k for the property, however I do not want to put a property under contract that I would not be able to assign over and give myself a bad name.

I have attended @Collin Schwartz meetings and they are awesome. As a matter of fact my first meeting I attended was on wholesaling!
