@Ryan Allen that makes perfect sense I appreciate the feedback Ryan!

I'm currently in this process while deployed in the middle east but I'm from Greenwich, should be back in a few months. Just really looking for a good multifamily right now.

And hey since I have you here, I'm trying to build my "team" would you happen to know or be able to refer me a local quality CPA and attorney that has dealt with rental property investments... I know it's a shot in the dark lol but I figured I'd ask.

Appreciate any advice! And again thank you for your time Ryan.

@Jim K. You could do the obvious here and invest the funds into your local drug trade, your overhead is already covered with the glock and many syndication offers will come your way. The other positive to this investment is that the current pandemic and market won't have an effect on the drug trade, business might even be stronger....Just a suggestion.

It's me again with another Newbie question...

I recently got approved for my first ever home loan it was a 0% down VA home loan of up to $275,000 and the lender said the taxes can only be up to $6,000.

Just curious as to why this is and what factors come Into play when accounting for how much is alloted for a "tax cap".

Is it my credit? The type of loan used?

Thanks BP!

-Manny

@Matthew Irish-Jones no he would've been the second agent I was referring too.

I reached out to the original agent and filled him in based on your advice. I will only be using him and the new one fully understands thank you for helping me. I was really over thinking this

@Matthew Irish-Jones awesome, Thank you Matt I really appreciate it.

Why do you think the agent hasn't brought this up with me and when would it come up durring the processes of working with them?

Also I recently found a lender whom I really like and gave me a great quote.. He also said he could rep me as my agent.. Is this legal in NYS? He has two companies. One as an agent and one for lending. If it is legal could this be beneficial?
