@Matthew Irish-Jones thank you for the info Matt... I'm also in NY and awhile back I do remember signing a piece of paper (with the agent I'm leaning towards) and it's title says...

"NYS Disclosure form for buyer and seller"

I'm assuming this isn't a contract.

@Matthew Irish-Jones okay so the minute I sign a buyers agreement I'm locked in with that agent forever?

I haven't done this yet but when I do is there any getting out of this?

Thanks Matt!

While looking to purchase my first investment property, I've ran Into a problem...

I found a realtor on BP that I've been using but also have ran Into another realtor that would be a great fit for me...

Is it ethical in the REI world to use two agents.. Should I just pick one and get on with my life..?

Again I've never purchased a property before...

Thanks BP!

@Upen Patel thank you so much and I appreciate your time. I shouldve mentioned that im am looking to house hack or in other words owner occupy this investment property.

I will keep your advice close and will reach out to a few more lenders in the coming days. All of which have been referrals. When I approach the lenders I will be sure to tell them the previous rates I've been given.

I am in the process of wanting to purchase my first investment property.

Ive never applied for a loan before but have been building my credit for some time..

The lender just pulled my credit.. Should I go get other quotes and in doing this will it hurt my credit even more? I'm also a veteran and am looking for a 0% VA home loan.

Thanks BP it is greatly appreciated

@Christopher Phillips interesting point, I appreciate your feedback and will ask this question directly to the lender. I know he has several different businesses within the REI Realm.

Also Chris, to further paint the picture within my question.. I am looking to owner occupy a small multifamily (1-4 unit househack).

Thank you for your time!
