The one percent rule tottally applies in the Triad  As for small multifamily (duplex, triplex etc) they are few and far in between although don't let people fool you, they do exist, they are here and I have seen them. There just aren't that many.

Stop wholesaling with agents. My attorney provided me with assignable contracts, he runs the local REIA. Assigning contracts is tottally legal here. Now there might be something going on where because the agent is involved then it becomes illegal, so honestly just don't do bussiness with agents. Keep it simple.

Assigning contracts is 100% legal in the state of NC. In fact that's the only way certain attorneys will even agree to wholesale closings.

Hey everyone! Does anyone here know of a good local bank that does portfolio loans here in Greensboro? We are starting our wholesaling bussiness and would like to open the account where we will be getting loans in the future

Thanks so much

Hey Wayne, go to the courthouse during auctions and hand out bussiness cards, you can also attend Karen Rittenhouse's dealmaker sessions, they happen the first Tuesday of every month at the airport Marriot at PTI, it's totally free to attend, I just went to one yesterday. The address is 1 Marriot Drive.

Hey everyone, recently I saw a BP money episode where they talked about being a mortgage Signing agent. I am somewhat interested in this but it was mentioned that this works best in escrow states. We are an attorney state, is there anyone on here who is doing this either full or part time in NC?

Thanks so much for reading my post!
