Hey guys, I am on biggerpockets a lot these days. I always see individuals asking about real estate meetings, and educational meetups....but I wouldn't mind hanging out with all of you in a more recreational setting. Maybe some bowling...hiking, maybe a bbq, something of that nature. I think having individuals will similar interests as friends is always motivational, and would help everyone stay on track, and exchange stories, and knowledge.

So if you are in the Tucson area..you can message me on here, or on Facebook and maybe we can get a group together and plan something.

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

@Thomas Lee I would most certainly consult with a licensed professional in the area. Good luck.

I think @Paul Timmins is spot on, I have met a lot of burned out, jaded owners that chose to manage their own properties.

@Lenin Belangonda I would suggest a good insurance policy that is catered to a rental. Look at your closing documents, somewhere in that stack there should be a specific amount of time you are required to live in the house. What I have mostly seen is 12 months.

Unless you go to your current lender and tell them you are not living in it, I doubt they will bother you about it.

@Tom Scott any update on the transaction? I am looking for a property similar to this, and I am curious how it went for you.

I think wholesaling would be an option.

@Andreas F. I would suggest seeking a tax adviser that is formally an IRS agent. They seem to be the most knowledgeable to me.
