I currently live in Bali. Does anyone here have experience doing any sort of RE investing here? 

I am am considering trying to start a portfolio of properties here but haven’t dug into the opportunities here yet. I only have investments in the US right now.

I currently have a property on Airbnb but am thinking about creating my own site to accept bookings as well. Does anyone use their own site, Airbnb and a third-party pricing service (I use BP now)? I am wondering if there are easy ways to sync calendars... not worth setting up a site if I have to manually sync calendars all the time. 

I have wondered the same thing. My rental house has a carport that is technically not connected to the house but very close. I have often wondered if it would be profitable to remove it and replace it with a two car garage with an apartment above. Has anyone done anything similar? What do you think the impact would be on my main property (a 4/2.5 sfh listed on Airbnb)?
