You should be able to get a list of taxes going to sale from the county. Also depends on if your state is a lien or deed state and if you're looking for a return on your investment or looking to buy property. If your looking to buy check the redemption period in your state and go back that many years, this way you can start foreclosing fairly quickly. You will have to wait in line if some one else bought the previous years.

Check with your recorder of deeds office, give them the pin # they should be able to tell you if its a buildable lot or not. Some times developers after building have partial parcels they don't use because they are not big enough to be zoned as buildable. But even though they can't build on them, they have to be assigned a pin # so you must do your due diligence.  Good luck,

Darius, maybe we should be asking you what you are planning on doing with these properties. You may have different options given the different scenarios you're encountering. You may be able to structure things differently for each property. If it were me, I'd see if I could pull equity and get rid of those liens. they'll only cause headaches later.

How much $$$ are you talking about? If the house is free and clear and the liens equal 30%-40% even 50% of ltv wholesale or doll it up and retail it.

I would try to short the credit card company. They sell their debt all the time. Pennies on the dollar.

How did the credit card company put a lien on the house?
