I've been reading forums and I'd say try connecting to @Jerry Puckett on a mentor for wholesaling. I hear his name ALOT on wholesaling in the DFW area. I'm unsure where Rogers is (sorry), but you can certainly try. Additonally, try the Network tab to network with folks in your area! I'm sure they'll lead you to people they know too. The other questions I'm not as familiar with. I'd try linking up with an attorney for paperwork or biggerpockets.com/files has documents for Pro Members!

Sorry for your bad experience! There's nothing more disappointing than having an agreement and expectation and finding later the job wasn't done correctly. Whatever the story, moving forward I'd go ahead and have your attorney review it! I'll PM you mine. I'd also have a friendly conversation with the inspector. There may have been a misunderstanding so finding common ground and ensuring a mutual understanding for the future would also be nice. You can always get a new inspector if this one won't work out!
