I can't remember...

We moved to Aiken last year and bought a historic home on Holly Lane, it was a 2br, 2ba  but had an unfinished attic. Before we bought I made sure we could finish it into a Br/Ba. Interviewed 3 GC and 2 Handymen. Two never got back to me, one said he did not want the job, out of the two who did want the job, both seemed good, I chose the one the neighbor and the previous owner recommended,  and he was just wonderful to work with. I think we added a lot of value to the home. Don't know how long we will live there, probably 3 to 5 years. Welcome to the Community Ethan!

I am going to drive by it today just for fun...I live about a mile away. 

Just got my daily  report and saw 351 Greenville for $24,000. 1br 1b says it rents for 450.00 per month. Looks like it needs lots of tlc. But kind of interesting. It is near  the historic downtown. Might be worth a look. On the other hand might be a real mess!

I can recommend to you Vicki Crossland who was my Realtor. She found me  the home of my dreams here in Aiken and is very sharp.

You will find a wealth of information here on Bigger Pockets! I moved to Aiken last year and hope to start investing in the Fall. I am going to focus on areas around Fort Gordon. My husband works there and says they are expanding, they have been for awhile. North Augusta is lovely, we enjoy Manuels Bread Cafe!

Hello Jonathan! Welcome! We moved to Aiken last year, bought a cute cottage in the Historic District. I am planning to get  my Realtors license in the fall. For now I have had some good experiences renting our our remodeled attic space on Airbnb.
