@Ben Wilkins Thanks for taking the time to give out that advice! It really is appreciated. I'm probably going to look into house hacking first just to get out of my housing situation. I need less stress so that I can focus on other things. Thanks again!

Is it possible for a novice with no money (less than $1,000) to somehow get started in REI in NY? I'm trying to save but i'm not sure how much I should save towards. I'm not sure if I should start looking into wholesaling or house hacking to get started first before moving onto rental properties. I have people that are counting on me and I desperately need to get out of my housing situation. Trying to find a local REIA meeting but so far have found no luck. I'm likely just not looking in the right places. Any advice helps!

I'm also looking into relocating to FL eventually.

BP is a great place to find information from and to talk to other investors around the world. I'm thankful I found it. Aside from my own ambition and passion for this industry, you all inspire me!

Post: Agents license or Brokers license?

Do you need your brokers license in order to wholesale property? Can you wholesale with an agents license? I've heard that it's safer to wholesale with a license to avoid fees or fines for now having a license. Because to get a brokers license I would need at least 2 years working as an agent or 3 years in the field to get a brokers license. I am new to the industry and am wondering if I can wholesale with an agents license and then get my brokers license over time.

Thank you

I currently live in NY. Hoping to get to FL sooner or later. However, I would like to know if there are any investors who would be interested in taking a chance on me and helping me get started with this career? I am completely brand new to this career and need assistance in getting off the ground. We can discuss this in greater length if you are interested. I'm trying to create a win-win situation with whoever is interested while I receive education and wisdom in return. If interested, please message me or email me. All considerations are welcome and highly appreciated. I'm new to BP and so far I am loving everything it has to offer.

You won't regret it.

Thank you all for your advice. Much appreciated! To be honest i'm kind of nervous because I don't really know what can go wrong, but i'm just going to get out there and give it a go. Thanks again!

I am a complete newbie to Real Estate Investing and am more than interested and willing to become successful. If anyone is interested in taking a chance on a newbie, please let me know so that we can discuss this in greater length that could benefit the both of us. Again, thank you to anyone interested. How's everyone doing? I am new to investing. I'm 24 years of age and am looking to break into the industry. My question to any and all is what is my best option for breaking into the industry? I do still live at home. I am currently looking into "House Hacking" but I do not know where to start. I eventually would like to learn flipping and wholesaling houses. Unfortunately, I have no money to start out so i'm just trying to find a way to break into the business. Any answers are much appreciated!
