@Michael Ritrovato. Okay. My rental is in Newport. Well if you need a realtor, I have some good ones there that I’ve known for a while. Once you hear back from your PM, send me a msg if you want their contact info or have any questions. I just moved from there in March.

@Michael Ritrovato. Where at in NC? Depending on where it is. Now is a great time to sell due to high demand and low inventory. A nice combination of summer movers and hurricane Florence. I have a house in NC and benefited from it greatly.

@Joseph Pugliese only because this is more CA based conversation, starting a NY HELCO post could be advantageous. I've came across several post about HELOCs that are state specific. good luck!

@Jason Graves i have my current loan through Wells Fargo and they are hard to work with when trying to HELOC. My best option (with them) is to cash out refi. So I'm shopping else where. lol

@Jason Graves I’m a huge fan of Loveland. I spent some time there. Would be a great place to invest as I don’t see that area or CO for that matter slowing down anytime soon. I couldn’t believe how built up it was and nice if a job they’re doing with the infrastructure. It seems like they have learnt from the rapid growth of surrounding cities that have blown up over the last decade.

@Andrew McManus good luck and please do. Any info is appreciated and I’ll do the same. Have you at least identify a company willing to work with you?

@Axel Meierhoefer I love the Dayton area. It’s basically becoming a mixture of Columbus and Cincinnati. I grew up in southeastern Ohio and visited there often. I had a lot of buddies that went to the Hobert welding school and I have another buddy that owns a brewery downtown Dayton. Good luck and keep us posted!

BTW- side bar. I own a house in Escondido. Are you investing there at all?

@Eva Mackowski. This is awesome, congrats! I'm actually looking into doing the exact same and would love more info on location and maybe some of the challenges you've seen making the move into self managing a STR. Any and all would be a huge help and greatly appreciate. again, congrats!
