@Mark Hart

Thanks, Mark! I have bought all of Brandon's books and am slowly making my way through. With wanting to invest out of state and not having solid "boots on the ground" yet, TK might be the way to go because I don't want to keep waiting for the perfect moment. Do you invest mostly in TN or do you also venture out of state?

@Jairo Ortega

Awesome insight, Jairo. I am always trying to keep the long game in mind. That being said, I will probably start out with some smaller multis (residential) to get some experience and build up to the bigger opportunities. Would be curious to hear how you started and how/if your path has evolved over time.

@Matthew McNeil

Great to know! You have echoed what every other person has said so it looks like I need to spend plenty of time vetting my potential PMs. Appreciate all the insight, Matthew.

@Kate Leiton

Also a great idea, Kate! I have heard many of these being advertised in the various podcasts. How has your experience been with RealtyBundles so far?

@Craig Bellot

Awesome list! Will add these to mine that I have already started to compile. Thanks a bunch.

@Leah C.

I am still going through the "discovery" phase on this but as soon as I have one or two nailed down, will certainly share! I had a call lined up with one last week that never showed...not a good sign starting off!

@Aaron K.

Thanks! Appreciate the insight - the PM seems to be the unanimous winner here. Do you do any investing in the Midwest?

@Jack Medford

Thanks Jack! Did you purchase your properties under your LLC from the beginning, or did you ever purchase traditional and then move under the LLC later? Getting the LLC formed is on the top of my list.

@John Warren

Thanks John! I appreciate the insight - I tend to be a little overzealous when it comes to things I am very interested in - like REI. But it wouldn't hurt me to dip my toe in at first and start with a few smaller properties before diving in.

Did you start in singles, multis, a mix? I am always interested to hear how someone got started, and how their journey has evolved. Do you mainly focus in IL or do you go outside as well?

@Adam Scheetz

Thank you for the extremely thorough response! You are right - if it were that easy to find all the economic data in a "one stop shop" method, everyone would be doing it! I appreciate how detailed you are with the factors in your market and how they are specific to NJ. I will likely use different indicators for Cleveland, Cinci, etc. Let's keep in touch!
