Turnkey vs. Traditional REI
Curious to hear some opinions on Turnkey vs. Traditional REI for an out of state investor. Mostly looking at Cincinnati and Cleveland, OH markets.
Background: I have a full-time job so schedule is always pretty full. I am looking to invest in 2, 3, and 4-families in those areas and generally around the Midwest. I am also looking at properties that are are close if not fully inhabited at the time of purchase so there is (hopefully) immediate cash flow. My thought is that with a full-time job, I might not have time to manage contractors and such when units need to be turned over. I guess this is where a good property manager comes in, but regardless, looking to learn the ins and outs and any gotchas that I am not considering.
Look forward to the feedback!
