@Mo Um they aren’t necessarily strict but there is new guidance. You have to pay $50 to register and if you live out of town it must be managed by a property management company. I live in town so this doesn’t affect me.

Hey @Joe Houlihan ! I have a SFH and a STR in Westerly. I love the market here although very expensive now. Feel free to message me and I'd be happy to chat.

@Lancer J Smith in my opinion the price range you have is going to be very tough to find any sort of multi family deal in Huntsville unless you act FAST! I’m running into the same competitive secondary market even with wholesalers and the other buyers on their list. It’s crazy!

@David Schumacher welcome to being a landlord, and investing in Westerly! I invest/live here as well. Personally I would just choose to not renew the lease. It’s month to month anyway...Just give them the proper notice.

Here is a very good link to save.

Hey BP Investors!

I was doing some thinking today, and I got curious. Where is the best rental market with the most affordable new construction costs? I’m excited to see the places that come up, thank you!

@Turner Wright thanks for the response! Sounds like a great area. I was looking for an agent to work with my younger brother who is trying to purchase a property to house hack. I found one though!

Hey everyone! I'm wondering if there are any Florence, AL investors active in the forums? I'd love to connect, discuss the market and maybe set up a zoom call to chat. Any insight would be great. What's the good, what's the bad?  Thanks!

@Tony Rees take this for what it’s worth...I’m an out of state investor. You’re going to find a lot of people on here recommending the same property management company. I use First Choice Property Management. They have made out of state investing so easy for me. I work directly with Susan and I couldn’t recommend them and her enough. They 100% do not nickel and dime you like the other highly rated management companies in Huntsville.

@Lucas Carl A lot of us got into this business to work for ourselves and now Air BnB is suddenly making me feel like I’m being micro-managed once again. These reactive policies being set forth are not sitting well with me.
