@Pat L. Thanks for the info, I will check around with my network and see if somebody has that "guy", funny thing is that was actually one of the websites I had looked at for prices.

I am in the process of my closing on my first flip and the previous tenant stole the complete HVAC.  I've had an idea about buying the system online with free shipping and a reasonable price point seems to make sense.  My plan was/is to get a written estimate with professional local business and then source a similar system online.   We've all done this with our electronics, go look at bestbuy and then buy on amazon, why not hvac's?

Have my first deal in my sights but it needs major foundation repairs and an possible deal breaker on an otherwise great flip.  It's an old school basement with stepped in walls that are in good shape, but the old school cinder blocks similar to a crawl space wall are deteriorated and broken.

Anybody in Wichita,KS have a guy they would share? Or best to keep looking?

Thanks for the help,

John

@Scott Lepore    Without a more specific location it could be hard to decide if I would consider the property a c+ to a d-,  not sure it wouldn't be better than that.  I'm not aware of any large multi-family's in Plainview or Oaklawn but as @Shane H. suggested I would stay away from those areas, but by your description I wouldn't think those are a worry.

There's some old officers quarters from the 40's that have been broken up into various multi-family properties that seem to kinda fit your description, they've had some updates but I wouldn't want my wife walking to the convenience store at night in that neighborhood.  Some minor gang activity in spots.   I did a walk through and took some pic's of a place for a group in Cali that fits this description.  Feel free to message me, lived here all my life.
