Post: How to find lists of evicting landlords in CT

Quote from @Samuel Eddinger:

@Kris Laku - Go to https://civilinquiry.jud.ct.go... and you can search by any Connecticut town.  From there you will get the name of the owner.  You may need to do an owner search from somewhere like https://www.vgsi.com/connectic... to find their address (in case you want to do mailings).  You may also need to look at the CT assessor's database if vision appraisal doesn't work.  You could probably do a phone number reverse lookup from a company like propstream but I haven't gotten to that point yet.  DM me if you want to discuss this further.

Awesome response thank you so much!

I've been thinking about ideas of which lists to begin marketing to and wanted to try evicting landlords. Is there a way to find landlords that are currently evicting, or is that a process that is kept behind the curtain? I live in CT more specifically the Litchfield county area, I'm not sure if this is something that's different from place to place.

This is probably a shot in the dark but I wanted to put it out there anyway.

I’m very much interested in flipping in CT, i’m more specifically in the Litchfield County area. I wanted to make a post to ask if there is anyone currently with a flip or has very recently completed one.

What type of areas are you looking into and how did those flips go?

I’m looking to expand my network and learn from people in the field, and if it’s a possibility even get a shadowing opportunity.

Thank you to all who respond I look forward to hearing from you!

As a newer agent in CT, with a full time job and not a lot of money toss around on leads; are there any tips for building a social media following? Despite my young age I've never been all that invested in online posting; so simply of thinking what kind of things to post, tags to use, captions to create is all very new to me and any help would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to any all responses, thank you!

Hello all!

Full transparency, I'm a newer investor/agent, working towards creating a career out of real estate. I am licensed in CT, and am currently pre-approved looking for my first multi-family property. My main interests are long-term rentals and flips, but am keeping my mind open to new ideas.

The entire business of real estate has a heavy emphasis on social networking, and meeting as many people as possible; through this post I hope to take a step toward that direction. Anyone in CT, regardless of where, if you're interested in networking please don't hesitate to reach out! Although my personal experience is trumped by many more seasoned veterans in the field, I hope to provide any sort of help and dialogue to anyone who is willing to reach out.

@Luke Rorech

Thanks for the advice! I have to really start thinking about what types of lead gen i’m really going to focus on. I have a book called Fanatical Prospecting which i’m very excited to listen to, so that when I finally get my license i’ll have a good idea of what route to take.

@Reid Chauvin

I’d love to get out there more, any recommendations on what type of places I should go to? People to call? I appreciate the input!

What would be most productive to focus on in my first month as an agent?

I recently decided to get my license in CT, but still have a couple weeks before classes start. What do experienced and new agents think would be most beneficial to focus on?

Thanks!
