I’m looking to become a loan officer but I have no idea how to pick a mortgage company to work for? Are there differences in how people get paid? Is it better to work from home? Are there differences in what type of technology and sales systems I’ll have access to? Any other tips? Thanks!

Quote from @Jonathan Taylor:

@Kobe McDaniel what challenges are you finding as an Agent? I find it rather efficient to be an LO and investor. I can get the best loan on the market, sometimes getting exceptions due to my relationships and can operate my business from a desk. It took me a few years to get sustainable income from it so consider the transition cost but Id prefer this side.

I am biased though being an LO and all.

What questions should I ask my LO friends about the business? How should I pick a mortgage company? Thanks!!

I’m trying to decide if I wanna switch over to being a loan officer as being an agent has some limitations with my investing business. Is it harder to be a real estate agent and investor OR a loan officer and investor? Any insight would be great!

Hi @Jonathan Greene

What are some questions I should be asking my builder? Essentially interviewing them, what should I found out in terms of costs, timelines, permits and such?

Thanks

Hi BP

I’m curious as to what everyone thinks about doing cash out ReFi’s right now with interest rates going up so fast. If you run your numbers and it still works then maybe it still makes sense? Thanks for any input!
