Are any investors out there sending monthly newsletters to past clients or present prospects? If so has it been bringing in new acquisitions and new business.

Is anybody offering guarantees to potential sellers to make them stand out from the competition? To be different from the crowd. To put you over the top so they do business with you.

Has anyone borrowed from another industry and used this marketing ploy in the RE investor business.

with all these so called gurus filling my e-mail box with special courses on private lending, short sales, foreclosures, rehabbing internet leads and everything else real estate related under the sun.

I even know of some guy who is a martial arts expert out east who is pitching real estate information products.

Being in this business for 9 years there is not much that has changed in terms of RE strategies. Nuances here and there but not a lot of different things.

You may ask - why even bring this up. i don't know - I guess it finally just got to me. These e-mails of false promises, And the sales letters are all the same the same format, headlines, etc. And then I see yes we've extended the deadline another 24 hours so you can get the special price.

Bull, they'll take the order any time and any where.

Did I forget coaching programs? Unbelievable!! People throwing away money on false dreams. I see and read about it all the time.

The best thing is self education. Teach yourself - read books. Make offers and TAKE ACTION!!
