Hi Jared, welcome to Real Estate. The brokerage choice is based on your goals. If you are looking to be one of the best Real Estate agents, go with the best (Keller Williams). Number one in Agent count, Number one in sales transactions and number one in dollar sales in the United States.

There areany places to simply hang your license. Keller Williams might not be the right place if you are getting your license for personal investments and your not focused on finding Real Estate business, however Gary Keller has put out some amazing books on Real Estate investing and becoming a Millionaire Real Estate Agent.

Hi Tobin, if the neighbor is looking to buy he probably needs some money to put down on the new house. With his income that might be a lot. I think the best way would be to have a Realtor and a mortgage broker look at all the numbers and see what is doable. If he wants 20% down for his new property, your numbers could change. The simplest way could be that you get a conventional loan with 20% down and have the seller finance a portion of the down payment. That way the seller can get a piece of the action and it will prevent you from paying mortgage insurance.

Hi Daniel, there are some great properties under 300k but 300k is a good starting point. As for neighborhoods, the most ideal in Aurora is usually the homes in the Cherry Creek school district. There are also opportunities near the hospital that can really be good investments. You can be set up with a property search in these areas. Have you found a local lender that knows international lending?

Hi Alexander, have the conversation with the lender so you know how much you need out of pocket and what price range will be good and the. Find a Realtor to help you find deals that will make sense based on your numbers.

Good luck and happy investing!

Awesome Jason. Since you are a tech guy KW is the place. Everyone else is trying to catch up to KW. There are many KW brokerages and all have different things to offer. Keller Williams Preferred Realty Dominates the north Denver market here and the are #1 in agents, transactions and dollars in Real Estate in the United States and are not looking back.

If you get a chance, whether a KW agent or not, take bold and your hustle will be supported by the right training and mindset.
