Good Afternoon All-

I am looking to invest in SFR in the Myrtle Beach, Conway, Akron etc area. Is anyone familiar or experienced with the inventory/rentals and areas? Are these areas good investments? I have a few properties I am interested in already. Any feedback would be great, thank you.

I am currently looking into building a portfolio of condo units for retirement cash flow/passive income.  I currently have 3 making a few hundred a unit.  My question is I have good amount of money right now and can purchase 1 unit out right and make about $1300 on it monthly or should I spread it out and take out mortages and purchase 3 or 4 which will make me a few hundred each door? Trying to figure out the best way to build a quick portfolio that will give me 10-15k a month in 8-10 years.  I love reading all the forum posts and I see many different approaches. Any feedback and advice for this newbie would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

@sean toomey interested in the areas you found a good cash flow also are you familiar with rent to retirement?  

We are still looking. Like previously mentioned pricing has gone up so much that numbers get tight.  Rental has not increased that much. Still searching. Good luck!

Thanks so much! Yes, I have been watching every webinar on this site and will start reading the books soon. Actually doing my first direct mailing to two communities this week about 450 letters. Hoping to get a bite of two. Definitely a numbers game!
