Hey Jennifer Sandusky welcome to BP! I also purchased a fortune builders 3 day seminar. This was a few months ago after attending a Temecula meeting they held. It was motivating and got me back thinking about real estate more seriously again. However after doing more research about the company I actually found Bigger pockets!! So it was a win win even if i don't end up going. In my opinion it's value really depends on what you know about real estate already. Because I personally have loss mitigation, FC, BK, short sale and DIL experience, I think it's less valuable. What I mean is I realized these "workshops " are for people who may not even know the terminology or much about RE in general. After talking with people who have attended and hearing about the experience, I'm sure it's a good overview of RE transactions and processes. I can tell you that regardless, you now being here is Huge. You can learn so much here! More then anywhere I could think of of you dig in. Well, anyways i just wanted to say welcome and hello! Glad you are here! Find a local meet up near you and go. I did this and have already meet a few awesome investors and have started to build friendships already. What a blessing it is to be learning from people doing it every day.

Hello Roy Gutierrez . It looks like a lot of great responses have already been give. I can only provide a personal experience from the renters perspective. I was dating a girl for a year and we decided to rent and apartment together. We both had good credit. We both read and signed the lease knowing we were equally responsible. After about 7-8 months we wanted out, and we want pretty bad. We ended up working on it and completed the lease because we knew we couldn't get out of the lease and our credit was very important to each of us. I can say it was a learning experience for sure for me and I'm sure many couples go through this, hence your concern. However, I know I wasn't going to ruin my credit now was she even though things got very uncomfortable. Good luck!!

Hi Wei Xie welcome to BP! I to have gained so much knowledge from BP, the podcasts and especially the connections made with other investors. Congratulations on your closing! That's very exciting to be taking the steps toward your goals! You should try to attend the investment meetings in Yorba Linda.
